Manager Performance Management & Quality

About the Job / Role Purpose:

• Monitor Corporate Performance Management while developing the company’s quality plan and strategy.

Position Information:

• Unit: Strategy & Innovation

• Division: Corporate Strategy

Minimum Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

Key Accountabilities:

• Review Omantel’s performance reporting needs.

• Review KPI tracking methodology to ensure accurate performance monitoring.

• Monitor all Omantel departments’ KPIs and analyze alignment with company strategy.

• Oversee implementation of strategic programs and initiatives, reporting on progress.

• Measure performance against targets and consolidate for CEO/BoD review.

• Highlight major deviations and collect proposed corrective actions.

• Develop Omantel’s quality vision, mission, and quality strategy.

• Review annual quality compliance plan for all assessment activities.

Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs

Position Information:

• Title: Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs

Minimum Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

• Internal Applicants: 6 years of experience, with at least 3 years in management

• External Applicants: 10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in management

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure consistency, completeness, and adherence to standards for all regulatory submissions.

• Liaise with TRA to facilitate submissions, respond to queries, and ensure timely approvals.

• Develop, implement, review, and manage a compliance monitoring program.

• Manage dissemination of regulatory circulars, communications, and studies by TRA.

• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of regulatory reports.

• Evaluate regulatory resource requirements, including numbering requests (Normal Numbers, Short Codes, Toll-Free Numbers, SPSs, SMS Short Codes).

• Coordinate with relevant departments on radio licenses, Microwave, Vsat, WLL, Paging systems, RRT, GMS 900, GSM 1800, etc.

Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting and Tax

Role Purpose:

• Support Senior Manager in preparation and reporting of financial statements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance / Certified Professional Qualification

• 6 years of relevant experience

Key Accountabilities:

• Support Manager to prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements; interpret IFRS and ensure accounting entries comply with IFRS.

• Perform intercompany reconciliations.

• Prepare accounting schedules and resolve discrepancies.

• Analyze financial statements and provide financial analysis and forecasting.

• Post journal entries in GL.

• Support Manager on queries, reporting, and ad-hoc projects.
