Sr Specialist Budgeting & Planning

About the Job:

Drive financial planning activities across the organization, with a strong focus on budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial consolidation for planning purposes. The role ensures effective budget control, strategic alignment, and financial insight through advanced forecasting tools and stakeholder collaboration. It also supports automation initiatives and system enhancements to improve planning efficiency and accuracy.

The position acts in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as policies, guidelines, and international standards, supported by IT platforms, HSE standards, Omani government regulations, and best international practices.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Support the execution of the annual budgeting cycle, rolling forecasts/latest estimates, ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational targets

• Monitor and control OPEX and CAPEX budgets, ensuring compliance and identifying cost optimization opportunities

• Manage budget transfers, additional funding requests, and variance analysis to ensure financial discipline and transparency

Financial Consolidation for Forecasting:

• Perform financial consolidation for planning and forecasting cycles across business units, subsidiaries, and at the consolidated group level

• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of forecast data aligned with internal reporting standards and strategic objectives

• Collaborate with finance and planning teams to ensure consolidated forecasts reflect business realities and strategic direction

Sr. Specialist IDS Risk, DR & Compliance

About the Job:

Provides end-to-end subject matter expertise across technology risk management, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance. The role supports the development and implementation of frameworks, policies, and practices that protect digital infrastructure and ensure operational resilience.

The position acts in accordance with OQ’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, policies, guidelines, IT platforms, HSE standards, Omani government regulations, and international best practices.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, and monitor IDS-related risks including operational, infrastructure, and compliance risks

• Conduct periodic risk assessments, internal audits, and gap analyses

• Collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Architecture teams to define and implement control frameworks aligned to ISO 27005, NIST RMF, and COBIT principles

• Maintain a centralized risk register and ensure timely mitigation, acceptance, transfer, or avoidance strategies for each identified risk

• Regularly review risk appetite, metrics, and thresholds in collaboration with Governance and Internal Audit functions

Sr Specialist SAP Functional – Procurement

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Functional Configuration and Customization:

• Configure and customize SAP Procurement module settings to align with organizational financial processes, policies, and reporting requirements

• Analyse business requirements, translate into functional & technical specifications, and implement solutions for complex business scenarios

Business Process Analysis and Improvement:

• Conduct business process analysis and optimization to identify opportunities for streamlining financial processes and enhancing system efficiency

• Collaborate with Procurement stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and implement process improvements within SAP MM module and connected applications

• Adopt OQ’s clean core methodology and propose solutions aligned with standards

Integration and Interfacing:

• Support integration of SAP Procurement with other SAP modules (FI, PM, PP, SD, PS, FM, etc.) and external systems to ensure data consistency and process alignment

• دعم تنفيذ دورة الميزانية السنوية، التوقعات الدورية/أحدث التقديرات، وضمان المحاذاة مع استراتيجية العمل والأهداف التشغيلية.

• مراقبة وضبط ميزانيات التشغيل (OPEX) والاستثمار (CAPEX)، وضمان الامتثال لأطر الحوكمة وتحديد فرص تحسين التكاليف.

• إدارة تحويل الميزانيات، طلبات التمويل الإضافية، وتحليل الفروق، مع ضمان الانضباط المالي والشفافية.

التجميع المالي لأغراض التنبؤ

المهام والمسؤوليات الرئيسية

• تحديد وتقييم ومراقبة المخاطر المتعلقة بـ IDS بما في ذلك المخاطر التشغيلية والبنية التحتية والامتثال.

• إجراء تقييمات دورية للمخاطر، التدقيق الداخلي، وتحليل الفجوات.
