Sales Engineer- Smart Lighting & Energy Efficiency
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient IoT and Smart Lighting Specialist to join our dynamic team. The specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting our commercial team in developing compelling and winning proposals for cutting-edge IoT, smart lighting and energy efficiency projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IoT technologies, smart lighting systems, and their application in commercial and industrial settings. In addition to technical and commercial proposal development, the specialist will actively engage in expanding and nurturing our partner network within the smart lighting ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Technical Expertise:
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of IoT technologies, protocols, and architectures.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of smart lighting systems – solar or not, including controls, sensors, communication protocols, and energy-efficient technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess client requirements and recommend suitable IoT and smart lighting solutions.
Proposal Development:
Interface with strategy and commercial management to develop go-to-market roadmap
Work closely with the commercial team to develop compelling and competitive proposals that address client needs and objectives.
Leverage technical expertise to provide accurate and detailed input for proposal content, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
Craft persuasive proposal narratives that highlight the value proposition and benefits of our IoT and smart lighting solutions.
Support finance and commercial team to develop financial models in pre-sales phase
Technical Consultation:
Act as a technical advisor during client interactions, helping to communicate complex IoT and smart lighting concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Assist in technical discussions, presentations, demonstrations and workshop to showcase the capabilities of our solutions.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including environmental regulations, anti-corruption laws, and ethical standards.
Act as a technical advisor / expert during project’s specifications, delivery and validation phases. Ensure regular reporting and communication to the client on technical aspects.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain and delivery risks.
Partner Network Development:
Proactively identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with potential partners, including technology vendors, manufacturers, and integrators in the smart lighting domain.
Collaborate with partners to explore joint opportunities, develop integrated solutions, and expand our smart lighting ecosystem.
Develop trust and long-term relationship with partners
Participate to contract negotiation with ecosystem team.
Industry Research:
Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies related to IoT and smart lighting.

Collaboration and Training:

Adept at networking and relationship building, with a proven ability to establish and nurture partnerships within the smart lighting ecosystem.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards, protocols, and certifications in IoT and smart lighting.
Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
