Require Civil Engineer
Job Description:
1- Designing and overseeing the construction of new buildings.
2- Analyzing survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects and assess the feasibility of construction plans.
3- Developing and using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed blueprints and construction plans.
4- Estimating the costs and quantities of materials, labor, and equipment needed for a project.
5- Ensuring that projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
6- Managing and supervising construction workers and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
7- Conducting site inspections and tests to monitor progress and ensure that work is being carried out according to the design and specifications.
8- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals to coordinate design and construction efforts.
9- Maintaining project records and preparing progress reports for clients and stakeholders.
10- Providing technical advice and support to clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Civil Engineer Requirements:
1- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
2- A minimum of 5 years of civil engineering or related field with related experience in Oman
3- Familiarity with design software, such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
4- Knowledge of map creation software and photo imaging software.
5- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
6- Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
7- Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project.
8- Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time.
