Trainee lawyer
Responsibilities
Reviewing and analyzing legal documents to identify issues or concerns that may require attention from senior attorneys.
Researching laws and other legal matters to support cases being prepared for trial.
Drafting legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs.
Interviewing clients and witnesses to gather information about cases.
Participating in meetings with clients to discuss case progress and to ensure that client needs are being met.
Qualifications
-Bachelors degree in law (essential).
-Skills in drafting, negotiating and reviewing legal documents.
-Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
-Natural leader who displays sound judgment and attention to detail.
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Excellent interpersonal, communication and public speaking skills.
