• MEP Procurement Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

· Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.

· Perform buying duties.

· Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.

· Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.

· Compare suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders in order to verify accuracy.

· Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.

· Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.

· Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet, and interview them to gather information about products to be ordered.

· Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists.

· Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.

· Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.

· Review requisition orders in order to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.

· Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.

· Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases, and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors.

· Monitor contractor performance, recommending contract modifications when necessary.

· Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.

· Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.

· Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.

· Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier referencing study.

· Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data.

· Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.

· Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.

· Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.

· Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliance in all the procurement transactions.

· Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices.

Quantifications:

· BSc in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.

· Minimum of 5 years 'experience in same field in Oman / GCC

· Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a skill in “reading” the market

· Talent in negotiations and networking.

· Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.

· Experience in collecting and analyzing data.

· Strong leadership capabilities.

· Microsoft Office skills.

· Holding a valid driver's license.

· An understanding of Tally/Focus ERP would be advantageous.

• Senior HVAC Sales Engineer

Duties and responsibilities

· Scheduling sales visits to customers and reporting on a daily basis to line manager.

· Plan & Spec Activity with Key MEP / HVAC Consultants.

· Spec-in during tender design stage.

· Good relationship with HVAC consultants.

· Preparing quotes with necessary guidelines of pricing & terms & conditions as per company policies & procedures.

· Closely work with clients & contractors generating enquiries for business opportunities.

· Timely response to enquiries / tenders with technically and commercially viable proposals and periodic follow ups with customers for order conversion.

· Responsible for annual sales targets and sales growth.

· Ensure timely process of orders on Principals / Suppliers.

· Build and sustain strong relationships with pro-partners and retailers to establish effective distribution channels.

· Co-ordinate deliveries to customers thru internal or external service providers.

· Ensure deliver documents are tracked and handed over to office assistant for Invoice preparation.

· Ensure timely execution of projects orders in co-ordination with internal or external service providers to meet customer satisfaction.

· Develop and maintain strong partnerships with principals and their employees, fostering mutual success and working collaboratively to meet agreed targets with dealers and projects.

· Preparation of sales proposals, estimates and take offs.

· Support Accounting Department during collection of customer payments accountable by the Department.

Qualifications

· Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical)

· 7 – 10 years of work experience in the HVAC Industry

· Demonstrate technical & analytical skills in relevant field.

· Presentation Skills

· Written and oral communication skills.

· Advanced user of MS office and Software tools.

· Proficiency in understanding AutoCAD layouts & ERP systems

· Team player.

· جدولة زيارات المبيعات للعملاء وتقديم التقارير على أساس يومي إلى المدير المباشر.

· نشاط التخطيط والمواصفات مع مستشاري MEP / HVAC الرئيسيين.

· المواصفات خلال مرحلة تصميم العطاء.

· علاقة جيدة مع مستشاري HVAC.

· إعداد عروض الأسعار مع الإرشادات اللازمة للتسعير والشروط والأحكام وفقًا لسياسات الشركة وإجراءاتها.

· العمل عن كثب مع العملاء والمقاولين لتوليد الاستفسارات عن فرص العمل.

· الرد في الوقت المناسب على الاستفسارات / المناقصات مع مقترحات مجدية تقنيًا وتجاريًا ومتابعة دورية مع العملاء لتحويل الطلبات.

· مسؤول عن أهداف المبيعات السنوية ونمو المبيعات.

· ضمان عملية الطلبات في الوقت المناسب على الرؤساء / الموردين.

· بناء والحفاظ على علاقات قوية مع الشركاء المؤيدين وتجار التجزئة لإنشاء قنوات توزيع فعالة.

· تنسيق عمليات التسليم للعملاء من خلال موفري الخدمات الداخليين أو الخارجيين.

· ضمان تسليم المستندات التي يتم تعقبها وتسليمها إلى مساعد المكتب لإعداد الفاتورة.

· ضمان تنفيذ أوامر المشاريع في الوقت المناسب بالتنسيق مع مزودي الخدمة الداخليين أو الخارجيين لتلبية رضا العملاء.

· تطوير والحفاظ على شراكات قوية مع مديري المدارس وموظفيهم ، وتعزيز النجاح المتبادل والعمل بشكل تعاوني لتحقيق الأهداف المتفق عليها مع التجار والمشاريع.

· إعداد عروض المبيعات والتقديرات والإقلاع.

· دعم قسم المحاسبة أثناء تحصيل مدفوعات العملاء الخاضعة للمساءلة من قبل الدائرة.

مؤهلات

· الحد الأدنى لدرجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة (ميكانيكي / كهربائي)

· 7-10 سنوات من الخبرة العملية في مجال صناعة التدفئة والتهوية وتكييف الهواء

· إظهار المهارات الفنية والتحليلية في المجال ذي الصلة.

· مهارات العرض

· مهارات الاتصال الكتابي والشفوي.
