Required jobs in World Intellectual Property Organization and their details:
Training Specialist
Background and Objective of the assignment
- training their future trainers;
- setting up a Business Plan;
- supporting the curricula development of future courses to be offered;
- establishing an IPTI Library;
- support in the organization of pilot training activities; and,
- building the IPTIs' digital presence.
Tasks / services
- Provide pedagogical support for IPTI projects implemented in the Arabic region and other capacity-building projects and activities implemented by the team;
- Advise and support external and internal personnel in the design, development and/or updating of instructional designs and Program documents.
- Contribute to the development of e-learning resources and identification of resources previously developed under ongoing or completed IPTI Projects, which could be utilized for new projects implemented in the in the Arabic Region;
- Contribute in the planning, organization for synchronous training activities through WIPO’s accredited video-conferencing platforms, and provide technical and pedagogical support before, during and after their execution, including but not limited to managing file storage, assisting participants and speakers with advanced conferencing tools such as breakout sessions and polls, among others;
- Implement asynchronous training activities on the LMS IPTIs training spaces, including:
- creating, maintaining and administrating the LMS IPTIs training spaces.
- creating and updating learning materials and activities.
- send communications to keep participants and speakers informed about the activities to be carried out.
- grading participants.
- supporting registration of participants (trainers) and experts into the respective IPTI space;
- liaising with participants (trainers) and experts addressing and resolving any administrative and technical aspect of the training activities, ensuring that learners receive quality on-line assistance;
- ensuring that questions/discussions are properly addressed by the responsible experts;
- reporting any e-mail and/or discussion forum communication outside the context of the training activities;
- receiving training on course administration methodologies and use of Academy’s e-learning platform according and its WIPO IT security standards.
- Contribute in the regular update of the IPTIs digital spaces’ content in the Arabic region;
- Contribute to data collection and statistics processing, as well as record and report attendance and general training results;
- Perform other duties in line with IPTIs tasks, as required.

المهام / الخدمات
- تقديم الدعم التربوي لمشاريع IPTI المنفذة في المنطقة العربية وغيرها من مشاريع وأنشطة بناء القدرات التي ينفذها الفريق؛
- تقديم المشورة والدعم للموظفين الخارجيين والداخليين في تصميم وتطوير و/أو تحديث التصاميم التعليمية ووثائق البرنامج.
- المساهمة في تطوير موارد التعلم الإلكتروني وتحديد الموارد التي تم تطويرها مسبقًا في إطار مشاريع IPTI الجارية أو المكتملة، والتي يمكن استخدامها في المشاريع الجديدة المنفذة في المنطقة العربية؛
- المساهمة في تخطيط وتنظيم أنشطة التدريب المتزامنة من خلال منصات مؤتمرات الفيديو المعتمدة لدى الويبو، وتقديم الدعم الفني والتربوي قبل وأثناء وبعد تنفيذها، بما في ذلك على سبيل المثال لا الحصر، إدارة تخزين الملفات، ومساعدة المشاركين والمتحدثين بأدوات المؤتمرات المتقدمة مثل مثل الجلسات الجانبية واستطلاعات الرأي، من بين أمور أخرى؛
- تنفيذ أنشطة تدريبية غير متزامنة في أماكن تدريب LMS IPTIs، بما في ذلك:
- إنشاء وصيانة وإدارة مساحات تدريب LMS IPTIs.

- تلقي التدريب على منهجيات إدارة الدورات واستخدام منصة التعلم الإلكتروني الخاصة بالأكاديمية وفقًا لمعايير الويبو لأمن تكنولوجيا المعلومات.
- المساهمة في التحديث المنتظم لمحتوى المساحات الرقمية لـ IPTIs في المنطقة العربية.
- المساهمة في جمع البيانات ومعالجة الإحصائيات، بالإضافة إلى تسجيل وتقرير الحضور ونتائج التدريب العامة؛
- أداء واجبات أخرى بما يتماشى مع مهام IPTI، كما هو مطلوب.
